The 6 CE hour Kinesiology and Acupressure Taping course will introduce you to the principles and practice of using kinesio- and acutaping in your massage therapy practice. In kinesiology and acupressure taping, elastic cotton tape is placed over painful muscles and joints to provide support, relieve pain, and improve lymph drainage, while encouraging full freedom of motion. Taping protocols for all areas of the body are outlined, as well as indications and contraindications. Over 2 hours of online video clips demonstrating kinesiotaping procedures are included in this course.

This Course Will Present:

  • Definition of kinesiology and acupressure taping
  • Brief history of Chinese medicine
  • 2 hours of online video techniques demonstrating kinesiology taping
  • Indications and contraindications to kinesiology and acupressure taping
  • Full-color diagrams and charts clearly showing how to properly tape body areas

You Will Receive: Acupressure Taping textbook, by Hans-Ulrich Hecker, MD and Kay Liebchen, MD, approximately 2 hours of online technique demonstrations, guide with instructions, exam of 40 questions, course evaluation, certificate of achievement upon completion, and unlimited phone support for any of your questions.
